CONGRATULATIONS ON SUCCESSFUL FUNDING!
Miawpukek First Nation and the TCR Department are pleased to share that Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) has funded a project to complete an Engineer Plan to upgrade the powwow grounds.
The Engineer Plan will include a complete overhaul of existing infrastructure. The plan will include new arbour and spectator shelters, bathroom and shower facilities, feast shelter, a canoe shop facility, electricity to all infrastructure, vendor shelters and sites, upgraded parking, and sitting areas. This engineer plan will then be utilized to secure funding to complete the project.
We appreciate the continued support and the wonderful working relationship MFN has with our representatives of ACOA and look forward to completing this project and all future projects together!
